The point of this blog was in the heading. The idea has already been planted in your mind and whether you respond or not you are already thinking about it. This subject was chosen as Vivaldi appears to have a higher demographic of older participants who will benefit most from this reflection. If you have no interest in this, then you are free to move on. I don’t require approval. I am here merely to plant suggestions in the human mind.
But for you readers who want this to be more than an idea in your mind, I shall present a suggestion that may be either right or wrong.
The older we get, the number of elders we have decreases. Time is used as a measure of wisdom. That is why you will see people older than yourself using age as leverage when they have nothing else. As humans love superiority, we use this measured wisdom against other people. We look down on those younger than us, just as we were looked down on when we were in their place. When we run out of people we look up to, we find ourselves surrounded by people we view as having less wisdom than us. It from this that we then believe that there is nobody left who will teach us anything and therefore have nothing to learn. Is this the source of our stubbornness?
Whether this is my suggestion or not, and whether you agree with it or not, is not relevant. But it may give you an insight into yourself nonetheless. I am merely an ideal presented to you, and your mind then creates an image of me based on two factors. What I present to you and how you confident you are in yourself. For example, if you are someone who measures your importance against that of others, you will negatively view what I present to you, regardless of what it is. An example of this can be found in the reply to my previous blog post. An individual created a negative image of what I presented and used it to strengthen themselves. They emphasized their age and experience (take note that I have listed my age as 21, which if true, would make me younger than they are), along with an apparent successful love life. Three things they assumed I do not have based on the information they were given. Take a moment to reflect on why that individual picked those things out of everything else they could have assumed. Why not focus on the amount of boats I don’t have? It is because those things are what are of value to that individual. Not having those qualities would be unfavorable. Therefore attaching the absence those qualities to an image of me, allows that individual to “win”. I don’t mind if you choose to use me as something to win against. I am merely a suggestion in your mind. Information presented to you that you draw conclusions on to assess yourself.
I am Alejandro.
I am an ideal.
